Before we verify your identity

PPL collects and processes biometric information — specifically the geometry of your face from your photo — to create your unique identity mark. We need your explicit agreement before anything is captured or processed. Read each item carefully.

Biometric data collection

I understand that PPL will collect and use the geometry of my face derived from my photo to generate my personal identity mark. This constitutes a biometric identifier under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and similar laws. I consent to this collection. My data will not be sold, leased, traded, or profited from. It will be retained only as long as my account is active and destroyed within 3 years or 1 year after my last interaction, whichever comes first, consistent with the PPL data-retention schedule. I may revoke this consent at any time.

AI-generated content from my likeness

I understand that licensed brands may use AI tools to generate new content — images, video, voice — that depicts my likeness, within the scope and term of any license I grant. This is distinct from reusing existing media. Every AI-generated output will be labeled as AI-made. I may withdraw any license at any time, going forward: nothing new is generated from that moment, renewal closes, and work already delivered under the license runs to the end of its term. I am granting a scoped, time-boxed, renewable license — never a perpetual buyout.

What PPL stores after verification

Inquiry outcome (approved / declined) and timestamp
An opaque vendor reference from the identity check (not your documents)
No government ID numbers or document images
No biometric templates or raw face geometry
No photos retained by PPL post-verification

Please read and check both items above before continuing.
