PPL · Referral program

Share your link. Earn 5% of every licence your audience signs.

Your audience is full of people brands want to work with. Post your referral link. When someone who followed it licenses their image, voice or story through PPL, you earn 5% of that licence. It comes out of our fee. The person keeps their full 80%, every time.

The terms

Short enough to read. Clear enough to trust.

  1. You earn 5% of every licence signed by someone who came through your link.

That's 5% of the gross licence payment, which is a quarter of PPL's 20% fee. On a $5,000 licence, $250 to you. It applies to each new licence they sign, not just the first.

  2. The person's 80% is never touched.

Your commission is funded entirely from PPL's fee. Nobody pays for having found us through you, and no one's earnings go down because they did.

  3. A real, paid licence is what counts.

Not a signup, not a verified profile, not a name. Commission accrues only once the person has verified their identity, consented, and been paid on a scoped, time-boxed licence. A renewal of an existing licence doesn't pay twice.

  4. Your link does the work. We never cold-contact anyone.

Post it, pin it, put it in your bio. Anyone who signs up through it is yours. PPL never reaches out to your followers, and we never ask you for anyone's contact details.

  5. We learn nothing about your audience from you.

Your link carries a code, nothing else. No reason, no condition, no health information, no profile. Anything a person wants PPL to know, they tell us themselves during their own onboarding. Posts that target a medical condition are not allowed, and the link can't record one.

  6. The person decides everything.

Whether to join, what they'll license, to whom, for how long, and when to revoke. How they found us changes none of it.

  7. Label it.

Any post, story or video that carries your link is a paid partnership and has to say so, the same way you'd label any sponsored content. It's the law in most places and it's how we'd want to be told.

  8. Paid to your Stripe account, when you ask.

Connect a Stripe account once. Pending commission shows on your referral page; request a transfer whenever you like and we send it within five business days. We may pause the program in a vertical or jurisdiction where the law requires it, and we'll tell you if that touches you.

Worked example

Fifty sign-ups from your audience. Twenty licensed.

Over the first round of licencesAmount
People who signed up through your link50
People who signed a licence20
Average licence$5,000
Gross licence value$100,000
Kept by the twenty people (80%)$80,000
Paid to you (5%)$5,000
Kept by PPL (15%)$15,000

Illustrative. The thirty people who didn't license earn you nothing, and cost the person nothing. Every further licence the twenty sign pays you again.
